1. What is a Shockwave affiliate?
A Shockwave affiliate is a partner who earns money by directing online traffic to Shockwave, resulting in sales of download games and new trial subscriptions to Shockwave UNLIMITED and Club Shockwave. As an affiliate, you can display a variety of our banner, text, and product links on your web site. Each time a visitor to your site clicks on one of these links, and purchases a game or subscribes to Shockwave UNLIMITED or Club Shockwave, you'll earn a commission.
2. How much commission can I earn as a Shockwave affiliate?
Shockwave pays 25% commission on all game sales. Affiliates earn $10 for every new free trial subscription for Shockwave UNLIMITED and $5 for every new free trial subscription for Club Shockwave. There is no limit to how much you can earn.We also offer 30 return days which means you can earn a commission up to 30 days after someone clicks on your ad and makes a purchase with us. Commissions for game purchases are paid based on the amount of the purchase. You will earn $10 for each new member that enrolls for a trial Shockwave UNLIMITED subscription and $5 for each new member that enrolls for a trial Club Shockwave subscription. If a user returns a product for a refund, or if credit card charges are reversed due to a dispute or credit card fraud, your account will be debited for any commission earned on that transaction.
3. What does it cost to join Shockwave's affiliate program
Joining the program is free. There are no sign up fees, application fees, or dues of any kind. It's absolutely free!
4. Is my site eligible to become a Shockwave affiliate partner?
Shockwave reviews each application carefully. We reserve the right to reject or remove sites at any time for any reason. To learn more about the criteria we use for approving affiliates, please read the affiliate agreement (terms and conditions).
5. How do I get started?
If you agree to the terms and conditions of our affiliate agreement, simply fill out the online application. Once approved, you will receive an email with instructions on how to set up links. You'll be able to select from a variety of links including logos, banners, text and products. Place any of these links on your site and you'll be able to start earning commission immediately.
6. What graphic materials (or "links") will Shockwave provide me?
Shockwave will supply targeted, fully-produced image text links and banner ads in a variety of sizes through LinkShare. Choose the ones that you think will appeal to your visitors the most, then download and place them on your site. We will update the material frequently so that you always have a great selection of fresh ads with our latest offers and promotions.

8. How are my commissions tracked?
Each Shockwave, Shockwave UNLIMITED and Club Shockwave link that you post on your Web site contains special HTML code that is used to track your sales. This code allows LinkShare to associate all of the activity that occurs through the link with your specific affiliate account. Every time someone clicks on one of these links and makes a game purchase or signs up for a Shockwave UNLIMITED or Club Shockwave subscription, your affiliate account will be credited with the corresponding commission.
